A few years after closing his two locations Odis Ervin had the genius idea to open a food truck. He enjoys cooking for people, and is happy customers continue to enjoy his fried cuisine. Mainly open on Saturdays. Follow our social media for current hours.

Ervin’s Chicken has been a family-owned company for many years. Odis Ervin has been an owner of fried chicken restaurants for over 25 years, and has worked in the fast food industry as a manager and employee for over 45 years. People will drive past other establishments just to get our incredible food. We have been voted #1 Fried Chicken Restaurant for many years by the community in the Temple, TX and Belton, TX newspapers. Our fried catfish has become as big of a seller as our award winning chicken. Customers make it a point to tell us when they arrive and before they leave that we have the best fried catfish and chicken they have ever tasted.
